    My income this year was less than 5000 but my husband earned 28000. Do I have to file
    My income this year was less than 5000 but my husband earned 28000. Do I have to file my w2. Return is higher if my w2 is not included.

    Yes - since you received a W2 and you are married you must file a tax return. You and your husband must file either as "Married Filing Jointly" (MFJ) or as "Married Filing Single" - you will most lilkey find that filing as MFJ gets you the best results.

    You can file joint return or as married filing separately.
