Small bathroom rough-in Ontario, Canada. Any suggestons?
    Hi all,

Hi to anyone who has seen me on other plumbing forums.

I posted a few pictures of my rough-in a few days ago. Changed some things up due to some suggestions. I'm reposting with new pictures of the changes I've made. Follow the link to see the pics. There are 11 pics.

I've taken out some of the 90's for the pex.

I've put the toilet drop ear on the left of the toilet.

Vent is now slanted upward towards stack.

The T's are on the right way for the venting.

The Y for toilet drain is now up and in the right position instead of on it's back.

The pipe between the shower control and the spout is now brass, instead of PEX.

I left the vent in the middle in. Some have said it is not necessary. I thought it was venting the toilet. I changed out the T and put in a Y, anyway, as per suggestions.

Now I don't know what to do about the tub drain and vent. I do think the hole I cut through the joist is probably too high and the inspector is not going to like it. I think I'm going to cover it over with plywood and give him a line about trying to reinforce or beef it up for some reason or another.
I've change out the y for a t as suggested and that has lowered where the pipe will go into by about an inch. SOme have said that I should just drain the tub right into the stack, but then how do I vent it. The home depot guys said use a cheater vent. Is that an option?

I have not cemented the ABS and I have not crimped the PEX together.

Anyway I look forward to any comments you might have about anything. Don't hold back and it's really helpful if you explain how it could be done right, instead of just saying it's wrong.

This is my first time roughing in a bathroom for my grandmother who can't afford a plumber, but I'll probably pay for a plumber to come in and take a look before I have it inspected.

I forgot to mention that the stack vent to the ceiling is still in a few pieces because I have to figure out what I'm doing with the tub before I know how long the pieces have to be, hope that makes some sense.

    Thanks again, everybody.
