    Was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas how to go about adding my sons name to the deed on my home?

    If you look through this forum, you will see several threads with a similar question. Doesn't matter whether it's a son, daughter, spouse or significant other, the process for adding a name to a deed is basically the same.

    You have to file a quit-Claim deed with the county clerk that deeds the property from you to your son and you.

    You might consider, however, just making a will leaving the property to your son. It moght work out better from a tax and transfer viewpoint.
