    Where would salaries expense of 70% selling and 30% administrative
    On an adjusted trial balance where would salaries expense of 70% selling and 30% administrative go? On the credit side or on the debit side?

    Expenses are debits. What percent they are of something else is irrelevant. Dr/cr rules have never been determined by whethere they're selling or admin, current or long-term, etc. They're determined by the type of account they are. Expenses are debits.
