    Right foot pain
I am in my late 50's but still active but during a practice football match in November I stopped to turn suddenly on my right foot and felt something like a tear in the large pad under my big toe joint on the right foot. After a week or so I spoke with my GP who put it down to old age and slow healing. He prescribed anti inflams and said it should be OK in a week or two. Now January 24 and I still cannot run or put pressure on the inside right foot. I also get burning sensations in the area when just sitting and relaxing.

Time to call the doctor back and ask if he can diagnose you or refer you to a sports medicine doctor.
