    Abnormall blood results with my 2 year old son
    My 2 year old son has been ill for over a year he has blood tests every 3 months but they come back abnormall every time he has low haemoglobin,high white cells, high platelets and now he has high b12 along with other things most of his bloods are high or low not many in the norm range he has antibiotics every 3 to 4 weeks as he has infections all the time but don't seemto be getting any answers of his doctor anyone can help .

    It is dangerous for anyone to diagnose based on what you have posted on a public message board. If your Doctor is not giving you answers you either have to push for answers OR find another Physician.

    I completely agree with what Judy has said. Kudos to her.

    Let me also say that, since we are not doctors (I'm the closest thing you will get here) AND we don't know your son's complete health history, it would be very dangerous, and litigious, for us to advise you.

    These are questions you should be asking your son's doctor.

    I am asking my doctor but not getting any answers off him I am having to pay private to try and get him sorted out

    You will have to get a second opinion from a different doctor. I'm sorry, but we cannot help you here.

    You see, we cannot examine your son, we cannot do the blood work or the lab tests, we do not know the results of the lab tests, we do not have the education that a doctor has.

    I truly wish we could help you, but any answer we give is, especially me, out my scope of practice and could risk me losing my license or worse, a multimillion dollar malpractice case.

    Thank you I understand where you are coming from hopefully the different doctor I am taking him to will be more use than the one he is with now
