Trouble shooting GMP Furnace draft blower motor slow starting
My exhaust draft fan has started giving me problems. The fan doesn't always come on and the furnace won't run. Sometimes the fan tries to turn but just barely and is real warm to the touch. When I can get it to spin it seems to be OK. I'm wondering if it is the capacitor or the motor? Any help would be apreciated thanks!

The motor, the fact that its getting hot to the touch tell you that its getting power, and I`ve never seen a inducer motor that had or needed a capacitor

Thanks for the info. I tried the cheapest thing first, (the capacitor). It made zero difference. Thanks again.
