DG04 dryer squeaks
I have a Fisher Paykel that started squeaking badly... My wide call a service guy who charged us $95 and did nothing. He said the Top was rubbing. I looked at it this AM since it started squeaking again last light real bad.. This is the first I've heard it...
The squeak is obviously coming from the back of the dryer.. Starts after it gets hot.. Maybe 10 minutes of running... Rear Bearing? Any tricks to get this unit apart and save me some time.. I haven't worked on a dryer in 20 years.. But I am very good mechnically.. Thanks... |

My GE dryer squeaks. I thought it was the belt, but it fits tightly. It is so hard to get in the back were the roller is to see if that is the problem. Am I wasting my time trying to find the problem and fix it myself or should I call for help?
We have developed a squeak in the dryer. It does heat okay and clothes are tumbling well. I went online to get the schematics of the dryer drum, but would not know where to start as parts are numbered and not named. Help:confused:
