Is there a signature at the bottom? It's cropped off in the picture.

No signature, but this isn't a painting , just a copy I found in an old abandoned house. I've had it for about 20 years.

Did you ask about this piece before, under a different name? There was someone asking about this same work awhile ago, but they never posted a picture.

Tonight was the only time I've been to this sight. I thought I'd try to get an answer and got excited when I saw that someone else inquired about the same picture. It was asked of them to post a picture if they had one so I thought I would take one and try and figure out how to attach a pic(which I was able to do). Was trying to help us both out. Any luck? I remember quite a few years ago when I inquired about this picture and found out a name of artist but my computer crashed with the info on it and just recently thought I would try again and save it somewhere safe, just in case. If you could find out for both of us, that would be great. I appreciate the help.

I was just wondering. It must be a fairly popular print to have more than one person trying to track down the artist.

I make no promises, but I will see if I can find it.

I need to identify the artist in a print I have [ 1 Answers ]

The print (it is a mass produced print, not a painting) is of a mother and her two daughters, picking wildflowers in a landscape scene in the great plains - probably set in the late 19th century. I would think this is probably by a mid-20th century American artist. I have attached a scan of the...
