Vacuum won't suck but it's not clooged
I'm hoping someone has some insight into my vacuum problem besides the only thing I can find on the internet which was, "it's clogged".

I have an upright Hoover Windtunnel Mach 3.9

The hose was clogged but I successfully unclogged it-nothing remains inside. I'm handy and thought I'd take a look at the fan and started taking apart the vacuum. I cleared out a lot of dirt build up, (nothing worthy of being considered a clog) and by the time I had a million screws and parts on the floor I still could not see how to get access to the fan and motor, I gave up for fear of not being able to get it back together again.

The motor works, the brush spins, there is powerful air blowing from the exhaust port but the bloody thing doesn't suck! If I didn't know any better I'd say the pressure difference between the vaccuum and the ambient air was not great enough to cause suction but jeez... I can't figue out why it won't suck. Any body have any ideas?
