    Unpaid wages
My employer owes me 3 months calary exceding $10 000 total. If I file a wage claim and win the case how do I make sure he pays? Can I place a lien? If I can, what kind of lien can I place and on what?
    Thank you.

    Hello g:

I don't know how you let it get so far behind, but that's another story... If you sue in small claims court, you'll only be able to collect the maximum that court allows. It's probably no more than $5,000.

If you win, you don't file a lien. You attach his bank account, and seize his assets.
