    Cats behavior changes
We are a couple with no childer and we have a male cat of 5 years. The last days he is avoiding us. In the morning when we have our breakfast he used to come around and he was very active, he would sit on my lap and just play around, but the last days he stays on his own in the room. In the evenings when we returned from work he used to come an greed us and then he played and he had dinner with us, then when we watched TV he would speep on me and when we went to bed he would come and spleep with us. The last few nights he hasn't come while we are watching TV and he hasn't slept with us.
His appetite is as good as always and nothing has changed in our lifes to cause him a disomfort. Everything is the same no changes, nothing.
My boyfriend (it is his cat) believes that we don't play with him and we don't give him much attention and he is feeling kind of "cut-off", could that be the case?
It is true that we don't play with him, but we always talk to him, touch him and we are always very tender torward him, he is very spoiled.
    Any advice would be appreciated!
    Thank you

Where is he at these times where he is usually with you?
I would take him to the vet to get a good once-over. Cats are very good at hiding when they are in pain or not well by simply hiding, or just becoming antisocial.
I had a cat that swallowed string when I was little, and she just stopped coming to greet us, and started sleeping in weird places she never had before. By the time we figured we should take her to the vet, the string had sliced her bowels open and she died on the surgery table.
