Registering a lien on a property
This involves landscape work in the amout of $40,000 on a property in Toronto and the recipient has failed to pay for the work. The home in question has changed hands to another person. How can one file in court for a settlement?

Since the property has changed hands you missed the boat on putting a mechanics lien on it.

You have to file suit against the previous owner and get a judgment, then try to collect.
