    Mason jar lids
I need to find where I can buy just the lids to some mason jars that I bought. I'm so stupid and forgot to check and see if the lids were in the boxes. I bought 24 jars and I'm doing a project for christmas gifts and now I don't have any lids. And I just can't take them back since I got them at a thrift store for a really great deal. Please if anyone can help me. I live in the san diego area and would rather go buy them a store if possible. Thanks.

I would call your local supermarket, and if they don't stock it ask if they know where you might purchase locally or could they special order. My grocer stocks them but I live in canning country LOL. I have also seen them in my Ace Hardware store.

You are aware the lids come as two parts, right?

Also if the contents isn't liquid, you could instead cover each with a square of plastic wrap, a square of Christmasy paper or fabric and tie tightly with yarn to dress them up, just a though?
