    We are running out of hot water quicker than before. Tank is only 6 yrs old. Help
    I have a 6 year old State Select gas water heater. It is running out of hot water after 3 showers. The same time of use support 5 or more showers before. What part needs to be changed?

    How often have you flushed the tank with full water pressure still fully on? 6 years is a bit short for a tank to fail but junk can build up or the dip tube could have failed.
