If not around the edge of the door frame, may be on hinge.

I took the door apart but the parts are not wired. I'll have to figure out how to expose the hinges.
    Thank-you.

The front may? Be easily exposed with the removal of only a few screws, some have little tricks to them, may include hinge removal.

Look at the center/top of the opening for a small metal tab(this is the switch), Try a quick spray, may get lucky.

Thank-you Stratmando. The switch IS on the door frame--right top corner. I just hadn't bent down enough to see it. Thank-you again.

If you flip it and let it snap open, it cuts it off one in five times. Feels like the spring is shot. I ordered a switch from the Sears site you referred me to. Thanks again for your help.
