My forced air electric heater runs all the time
I am a new condo owner and the place has electric forced air heat. It has a Honeywell ac/heat thermostat box. I have been living here for 2 weeks now and the heat comes on every 5 minutes. I have tried hitting hold temp at a certain temp, and just manually adjusted the temp and it still turns on every few minutes. Is this normal for this type of heat? If not, any suggestions? Thanks.

If you are a new condo owner then you should have had some kind of an inspection done before you bought. That should have included the heating and AC units. If so I would call the previous owner and tell them wha your problem is, also you may have purchased some kind of home owners insurance. If so call them.

About the running all the time, first you have to determine why it is doing it and then find a solution to the problem. It could be that just the fan motor is all that is cutting on and off, or it could be that the limit on the furnace is turning on and off the heat,

So determine just what is cutting on and off and then post back here.
