I have an 80 year old house and the 4inch drain runs straight up the exterior wall not in it and it was boxed out.I would like to remove the boxout on the first and second floor. Is there any way I could cut the 4inch drain in the basement and reroute it into the exterior wall on the first and second floor and then reroute back in the attic to the vent pipe so I don't have to cut a new hole in the ceiling, just connect it back to the cast iron pipe existing through the roof?if this is possible what would I use to connect new pvc pipe to cast iron?the whole purpose of this is to get enough space as possible since our rooms are small.
