    Perpetual yeast infection
My yeast infection won't go away! Help!! :(
I know that some women get yeast infections before their periods.. so the first time I noticed mine I thought it would go away after my period was over. However, it came back a couple of days after my period ended and I've been having trouble with it ever since.
I tried using yeast infection treatment (medications and pills etc.) but my yeast infection ALWAYS comes back a couple of days after I get rid of it!
I'm not pregnant and I don't have any illnesses/diseases and I'm not sexually active. Can anyone tell me why I keep getting yeast infections? And what can I do about them; the medications don't work!

You need to look into candidia yeast infection in your entire body. If you had taken a lot of antibiotics you can have an overgrowth of yeast in your body hence it won't go away. You need to consult your doctor about this as there are meds to take for the yeast overgrowth in your entire body. It takes several weeks to contain it.

Have you changed jobs lately that you come into contact with bakers yeast? The reason for asking is that in some cases the infection starts from outside sources. Another thing that may be occurring is that your misdiagnosing yourself and might want to see the help of a professional.

If it really is a yeast infection it really should respond to meds that are supposed to work on yeast infections. I do recommend getting a good diagnosis before treating yourself.

You can buy this suppliment: Lactobacillus acidophilus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in health stores. The best is kept refrigerated.

    Cranberry juice is also helpful.

    InteliHealth:

    A BIG NO NO!

Make sure you follow the suggested treatment length. If you DO NOT, the fungi may become resistant to the medication your using. This is also true for antibiotics. It's a bad thing to stop when it appears to be over.

I do recommend getting a good diagnosis.
