I've dyed my hair several times but I had went from black to blonde. And I got this oragny color, I love doing new things to my hair so I didn't mind.but my mother kept telling me that I looked like a clown.so I added a light brown to my hair. Didn't somuch work out but I've kept it in for months! And I'm ready for a new style.I want to go blond and purple, and yes ill be doing this at home. So I was just wondering if the light brown in my hair will go blond if I use the powder product with the developer.

WELL... I did it! And guess what... the bottle of purple said that best results will be if applied to bleached hair... SOOO I did it riight... and my plan was to have blond on top purple in the middle blond after that then purple on the bottom... SOO I dyed my hair blond first... put most where I really wanted it blonde because I didn't have enough... washed it out then applied the purple... WELL... when I washed the pruple out it faded into the blonde which turned out on the tips blue then faded upward to a greenish color then on top was still blonde! I was so upset! Not to mention that my hair from bleaching it started to fall out. I would say the worst day of my life. So I ended up applying the rest of the purple to my hair.And it actually turned out GREAT. I love it. Like I said I love new styles.. And if it wasn't for the purple fading into the blonde I never would have got the amazing hair I have now. It seems like I always make a misttake taking the risks of a new hair style and end up with Still an amazing new style. So now my question issssss... Does color dye do the same damage as if I were to bleach my hair. Because like I said the ends of my hair started to break off... I want to keep this in for a while.. so I was wondering if I could still keep this style without having more of my hair falling out or should I go to a professional and just get the colors to be taken out... PLZZ RESPOND BACK:D
