    In Pennsylvania can I change my kids last name to my current married name without my husband adopting them? If I can get the OK from their bio dad. And is it possible to do it woithout a lawyer cause money is extremely tight

    Please pay more attention to posting guidelines. There is a Read First sticky in the Children forum (where this was moved from) that directs questions of a legal nature to this forum.

    If the father is agreeable, then you should be able to do it. Check with your local Family Court to see what forms need to be filled out.
