I have installed 6 insulated can ceiling lights. They are on one circuit controlled by a Levaton paddle switch with a slide dimmer rated at 600w.The bulbs are phillips 60 watt halogen spots for a total wattage of 360w. They have worked fine for about a year usually run at about halfway on the dimmer. Problem is all the bulbs flicker brighter occasionaly at the same time. I have replaced the dimmer switch with the same type and I still have the same problem. They do not flicker at full power only when dimmed. They are wired with new romex 12/2. Any ideas??

Bruce you should start a "new" thread instead of answering an old one...
Much more likely to get an answer.

Also tell us more... when do the circuits trip? Immediately? How many trip?
    Have you tried anything else?
