    Why does my upstairs
My upstairs toilet makes really loud fog horn noise after the water has been filled up in the tank. I has gotten worse. Before, this would occur only every so often and the noise was softer. Now, this happens every time I flushed and the noise is VERY loud and the wall shakes. Please help. Does this loosen the pipes in my walls and cause leakage?
Thank you so very much. Diane.

Its caused by a vibrating washer in your fill valve, the ball cock. Which ball cock do you have? https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/attach...-ballcocks.jpg The washer is replaceable but a new ball cock is only about $6-9
