Driver rear sliding door won't open
1998 Oldsmobile Silhouette, 3.4L 6 cyl. 2 wheel drive. Location is Missouri.

At times it has been hard to open, like it is stuck. Now, it won't open at all. It is unlocked.

The handle moves, feels like maybe the handle is not attached to whatever it is supposed to be attached to in order to open the door.

Can't try opening from the inside because the child safety lock is turned to the on position.

Was wondering if it is possible to remove the door panel while the door is closed. If so, is there a good website that shows how or a book that I can purchase at AutoZone or somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any help.

This happened to a relative too. It's extremely difficult to close and it can only be opened with the engine off.

    Maybe this website can help.

It doesn't appear to be the track that's squeaky, but instead the rubber seal that runs vertically...

The center of our 8 foot sliding glass door bends out about 3/8 inch more than the two ends causing the door to wedge against trim that keeps the door from falling out when the door is closed making it difficult to open the door. How do I get the center of the door frame into place so the door...

Rear axle on my hydrostat mower is sliding out! [ 2 Answers ]

I have a riding lawn mower and the rear axle is sliding out. How do I go about repairing this? It appears to be held in with a clip at the end of the axle which would require me taking the hydrostat rear end apart to fix. Any advice or information would be very helpful. Thanks
