    HI there,

I have a Dell Vostro 1000 Laptop. The mouse pad works, but the keys do not. Is there a way to fix this?? Thank you.

Trt a reboot first and see if that resolves the issue.
Also turn the whole pad off and on again..

It's been rebooted a million times since the issue began. This started about a year ago. I did the turn off turn on thing.

    Here's the touchpad driver: http://support.dell.com/support/topi...up&file=238839

Just download, save, open and run the setup.
This will reinstall the touchpad for you.

It's not the touchpad that is broken, it's the keys.

Oh OK, I will try it out and get back to you on the results! I just bought a new USB mouse from Ebay though... lol... That might help.

I also have another question. Lately, my lappy top take 3-4 tries to actually TURN ON.
