The best way to know for sure is to check the connections at the indoor unit. Note the terminal letter designations & the color of attached wires. Most functions/colors are standard, but the "C" can be just about any color that isn't otherwise used.

The indoor unit does not have termnials. Just wires to connect to. Colors are.. white, black, red, green, and blue.

Most likely scenario: Red to "R", white to "AUX", green to "G", black to "E", blue to "C", yellow to "Y", orange to "O". Check diagram on indoor unit to verify that blue wire is "C" circuit. Base connections on wire colors of equipment wiring, if different colors of the interconnecting wires are used (i.e. blue equipment wire to brown interconnecting wire, etc.).

Thanks for the replys! I have it hooked up just the way you described. The problem is the once it reaches the set temp the fan does not turn off. It keeps running and at that point cool air starts coming out of the vents.

Try this: disconnect the "G" wire from the thermostat. If the fan stops, check setting of thermostat fan switch. If not, another problem exists in the fan control circuit or wiring.
