    Kenmore washer won't spin
    Kenmore frount load wasjer model# 970-c4507230 about 2weeks ago I noticed the door lock lite flashing when not being used. Now it only drains and spins when it feels like it . HELP

    Lid switch or timer faulty.
    Motor or transmission faulty.
    Pump blocked or impeller jammed.

RE: kenmore 70 series model 110.20712990 Type 111 top load washer. Won't spin. Humming noise and a little burning/hot smell when supposed to be spinning. Bypassing the lid switch did not correct the problem. Changed out the motor coupling with no luck... still a humming noise but no smell.
