    Getting a international divorce
My wife is a permanent resident in the US. She is from Japan and still a Japan citizen. She is in the process of moving back to Japan and we are getting a divorce. My question is, how much more difficult is it if she moves before she signs the divorce papers than if she signed them before she left?

Are there any terms to fight over ? Will she want to be present in court ?

Nothing to settle. It does not matter to her to be present in court. Does she need to be present?

Normally no, it would be a lot easeri to get an attorney, write up the paper work before she goes, get it all signed and filed.
