Electric start gas hot water heater
This is a gas hotwater heater with an electric ignition. It states it is not to be lit manually.
It lites on demand for hot water and it is trying to lite but will not catch. I have read that it could be a faulty therm coupler. There is gas supply to the rest of the house, heater is 4 to 5 years old, have turned hydro off and on several times, cleaned burner all with no success.

    Hi Mturnbull...

What is the name on the water heater? A model number would also be helpful and could you please explain how you cleaned the burner.

    Thanks...
