I just recently got another Mac, my first one being in the early 90's, and back then I played a game called Maelstrom. Well, I recently purchased it and have been playing it.

For those that don't remember, you are a spaceship and you fly around shooting asteroids and getting powerups.

Well, my question is, does anyone know how many levels there are or what happens at the end of the game or if there's even a boss?

I have found absolutely NO information on this game anywhere on the net. I haven't even found it on Youtube.

The furthest I've gotten is to level 12, so I have no idea how long it goes on for and if it's just the same thing in every level. There's background and a story to it on the main menu, but that's it, nothing else.

(Oh, and hilariously awesome sound effects XD)

According to that FAQ it just keeps going.

[Q] - Is there any kind of an end to the game?

[A] - No. Maelstrom just continues to get harder and harder as you proceed
Through the game. There are as many waves in Maelstrom as you can handle.

That's both a good and a bad thing. 'cause I love playing the game, but I mean, everyone loves a little story and an ending, lol. Thanks!
