    New York residency for taxes
I am a Us citizen with full resident status in Massachusetts. However, I do drive my wages from a company in New York. The company pays on weekly basis. I spent about 60% of the calendar days in a year in New York and remaining in Massachusetts. I am still working for the company when I am in Massachuesetts in one of their Massachusetts locatio. How do I divide my income between two states.

You need to pro-rate your wages between New York and Massachusetts, then pay New York state taxes on that portion where you earned the income in New York. An acceptable formula is to claim for NY wages earned while physically loacted in NY state.

Once you file the NY state return, you will be able to claim a credit for those NY state taxes paid on your Massachusetts return, thus avoiding double taxation on the pages earned in NY state.
