What is draining my battery in my 2008 ford mustang
After over a year of having my new mustang it went dead, thought it was just the battery. Got a jump all was well until the next day, got another jump and again the same thing. The battery was replaced... TWICE along with new alternator. It starts but when it sits overnight, it won't start the next day, then I get a jump and it's good to go but something is draining the battery power since after 8 hours it won't start up again. Any yes, nothing is left on or even plugged in for that matter! The Ford dealership can't find what's wrong but they finally duplicated the problem (it not starting) and says there's a short somewhere? Can anyone with any knowledge PLEASE help... I need my car back and going crazy that even the Ford people can't figure it out!

If there's a short, a fuse should've blown. I think the individual at the Ford dealership was "blowing" you off. See if the link below helps you solve the problem:

Remember, even new batteries should be fully charged, prior to installation. After you locate the source of the drain, I recommend that you remove and fully charge the battery. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. You really need to solve this problem soon. Jumping the battery dramatically increases the odds of a voltage spike frying the PCM, alternator, and/or sensors.
