    Pregnant and still brestfeeding no period
    My daughter is now 9 months old I have just stopped brest feeding her and have not yet hade a period now I am pregnant agen. Would like to no if this is normal.

    Very normal. Breastfeeding should not be considered a form of birth control. It is still possible to ovulate without having a period.

    I have many friends that went from one pregnancy to the next without a period.

    What most people don't realize is that you ovulate before you get a period. It's entirely possible. Breastfeeding is a horrible form of birth control, as J9 said.

    Yes, the same thing happened to me. You must have ovulated right around or after the time you stopped breastfeeding. Your OB/Gyn will be a good source of info for you.

    I stopped nursing at 1 year and had kids 21 months. Apart.

    Yes, esp if you were wanting additional children and not using forms of protection
