    99 nissan maxima icm
    In the morning I can start the car and it will drive 10- 15 miles. Then it just dies. If I wait an hour or so it will start up and go for another little bit then die. I replace the fuel filter. Wasn't the problem. Replaced the fuel pump, wasn't the problem. I am running out of ideas and it is getting exspensive. I thought maybe it was the alternator but when started I disconnect the positive cable and it keeps running. Seems it is either running out of fuel or something is getting hot and shutting down, It only does it when I driving and RPM's are up. It will idle for a long time without shutting off. Any Ideas? Thanks

    . Check for codes.

    . Check/replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor.

    . Check/replace the Camshaft Position Sensor.

    If the problem persists, the ECM may be bad and it should be professionally diagnosed by Nissan.
