    Replaced the cranksahaft position sensor... still happening
    Hi a while back I asked about my honda 01 civic stalling in stop and go traffic... today replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it stalled on the way home... uggghhh its also coding tdk sensor ? Help

    I'm surprised the car died again, after replacing the CKP Sensor. Your problem is likely beyond my "pay grade." It may be a problem with the ECM ground, ECM wiring, or the ECM itself. Try substituting another ECM, if possible. Living near the ocean (salt air) can sometimes affect the condition of grounds and connections. Best to take it to Honda and have them place their diagnostic equipment on it. Let us know what you find out.

Transmission range switch vs position sensor [ 2 Answers ]

1998 Honda CR-V Check engine light came on. Honda troubleshot it saying it needed the transmission range switch replaced. After work done, invoice showed that the position sensor was replaced (part # 28900-P4T-003). Are these two parts one in the same? Thank you for your help.
