Hi,

I am 24 years old, male, I work out, jog, do yoga, list weights and all, my question is, should I be wearing a jockstrap while doing any/all of these activities? Coz, I have heard that I should wear it while doing lower exercises. Please explain the importance of it?
Also, I have never felt discomfort because of not using it.

All I can say is that in Ireland, men do all those things without jock straps. The only time anyone is likely to wear one is during karate to protect against badly aimed kicks to the groin. And for what it's worth, Ireland has the highest birth rate in Europe...
