Is there a leak in my washer?
Hi, I have been hesitant about asking this question because it sounds silly, please forgive me.

After washing my clothes this past weekend, I noticed water on the floor around the washer (about a cup in total I guess). I wasn't able to determine where it came from because I didn't pay attention while it was washing.

I wasn't sure if it was the washer leaking, or if I just overfilled it, so I cleaned the floor and tried washing again without anything in the washer and didn't notice any water on the floor this time.

My question is, if the washer is leaking, would it leak every time it is used?

    Thanks.

If there were a leak, then it would most likely leak every time. It may be that there was a slight overflow the one time. You would have to run it some more to be able to have a better determination of a leak. Also, check hot and cold supply hoses and connections
