    TV problems,free help
I have a Philips match line wide flat screen TV 32 inch.It worked perfectly till a week ago and than dim picture at once, best seen when teletext on.Sometimes for part of a second OK.
The colors are still perfect. It is not depending on the antenna as same problem when VCR cassette watched.I have tried to switch off the TV with main switch some six seven times for 20 minutes and working one minute but did not help. Tried to unplug the TV from the current too but even that did not help.
I had modem of digital TV on top of the set so unplugged it and posted far from TV set.
    Even that did not help.
    Any tip

Could be the lamp lights behind the screen, or the circuit that controls them. I believe on your TV, there is a circuit separated, just to work with the lamp light.

Lamp lights? That I know there are no lamps there as the screen, covered with special layer, is bombarded from farthest possible distance by beams of green, yellow and blue colors, which form the picture.

Sorry, I didn't know. I assumed, it was a LCD, I didn't even bother checking the model. What type is it... CRT (Projection I'm Guessing) or Plasma.

    This May Help.

You know the set weighs 74 kgs and too difficult for the transport to the repair shop.In new TV sets it is mostly no reparations but just changing of integrated circuits.I imagined someone could tell me what circuit it is and to change it myself.
