    Gergia judgement
I more here to Gergia 2 yrs ago. I just received a call about a credit card company will be putting a judgement against me. I own them about 3,000. I have no properties and no savings. I purchase a veh in jan which I am still paying for it and I have a really old car that is pay for it. Now the representative that call me say that they can put a lien on that veh I am paying for it and possible have it sold to get this money.

I am engaged but my fiancé gives his $ to deposit into my bank account. Now this guy sd they are also monitoring my bank account.

Should I stop my direct deposit and starting paying bills from my fiancé account. Once lien on my truck do I have sell it as he stated?

The payment plan they are asking is so high for me what should I do?

Is there a Judgment against you or is the company simply making threats about what they could/would do IF they got a Judgment?

If they DO get a Judgment they can take any steps which are legal in Georgia to collect from you.

They will have to serve you notice of a court hearing. Then they will get a judgement.

After they get a judgement they may freeze all of your bank accounts and garnish your paycheck. They will come after the paycheck long before they go after any liens on a car

How long does it take for credit card company to get a judgement? But as right now the payment plan the company is asking is way too high, that basically I can't afford it. If I filed for bankruptcy will the judgement in include in bankruptcy/
