    Hot water circulating through headertank in lotf
    My central heating is pumping hot water through overflow pipe into header tank in loft and returning back into the radiator system.I thought the header tank was only to top up when needed .I have a cover on tank.What can I do to stop this problem

    Check the system pressure gauge (if present). Check for isolation valves in the tank loop.

    Check for a stuck fill valve.
