    When is rental property lease legally binding?
    I signed the lease for a rental property on 3rd dec 2009 but the starting date is 12 dec. what would happen if I cancelled?

    You are bound by the contract if you and the landlord have both signed it.

    So what ever the lease says will happen if you break the lease is what happens
