    How do I remove stain from wood doors
    I have stained a solid pine fir door with mimawax stain and have blotches. How do I even out my on these doors?

    Stain conditioner before staining would have prevented this. Now the stain has SOAKED in unevenly and must be sanded off, its in the wood not on the wood. I would first try to rub the door down with a terry cloth damp with mineral spirits. If the stain has not cured you may get a good amount off, maybe enough for conditioning.
