    60 amp electrical panel
I would like to switch my main service from my house to my new garage. The garage will have a new 200 amp panel. There is an upper room over the garage. The house has a 100 amp panel. I would like to feed the house off the new panel with a 100 amp breaker. My question is, do I need to remove the ground rod at the house, and isolate all the grounds? If so, do I feed the house with four wires, two hots a neutral and ground.

    Thanks

Any grounding electrodes, such as rods or water lines, need to connect to the neutral at the enclosure that contains the Main Service Disconnecting Means, ie: Main Breaker.

A 4 wire feeder will need to supply the house panel, and the neutrals and grounds must be separated.
