The Grinch Who Stole A Charlie Brown Christmas
Barrack Obama picked a great time to do his address tonight. Instead of watching the timeless holiday classic "A Charlie Brown Christmas", and hearing "peace on earth, goodwill toward men", we now have to hear "30,000 more troops being sent for an unwinnable war." He couldn't have picked another day to do this address? Guess liberals hate Christmas after all. I think his approval rating will go below 50% tonight if it isn't there already.

"Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove."
Also, " Seventy-one percent (71%) are angry at the policies of the federal government and 52% don’t believe the leaders of either political party has an understanding of what’s needed."
Perhaps we can send him some coal for Christmas... maybe even in time for his Copenhagen trip.

This is a really big issue, Obama competing with prime time TV for an audience and just when he thought he had the hang of this address to the nation thing. Just fancy, announcing a policy decision to the people who are likely to have to carry it out and expecting the nation to stand still for it, just fancy?

I think Charlie Brown will get huge ratings over Obammy's speech. Who wants to hear a Charlie McCarthy puppet mouth empty words? Not to worry, we'll get a replay of his speech over and over again on the news.

Watching the President speak right now in the same Eisenhower Hall that I watched Jon Stewart's schtick in.

Earl,
Do you only get one channel? "A Charlie Brown Christmas" should be on about 40 times by the time Xmas rolls around.

I never noticed that, you're right. It's on only on a couple of Tuesday nights. I've leaned something new today!
