    Period won't stop
OK so I'm 16 and my period has lasted about a month so far. I have clots(about the size of a quarter) and they are kind of heavy. My last period lasted about a month and was the same as this one. Could something be wrong? Or is my body just adjusting?

Have you been sexually active at all?

Also have you seen a medical professional about this?

You need to give us more information to help you better.

You need to see a doctor. This could be something easily controlled, or it may be something more serious. We cannot tell you over the internet. You need to be examined.

You need to talk to your mother (or guardian) and ask them to make an appointment to see the doctor.

Teenage periods can be irregular but for your period to last a month with large clots is very unusual and it could also be making you anemic.

Any unusual bleeding - and yours is unusual, should be seen to by a doctor immediately.
