    Fireplace repair
Our fireplace is on an inside wall and in the hall and rooms behind the fireplace gets a little smokey and smells, but not in the living room where the fireplace is. Why would this happen and how can we fix it?

You need to have this inspected since it is highly likely the chimney liner is cracked and/or leaking smoke. There can be other reasons but I'd start with a pros inspection.
