Kenmore elite he3 dryer won't start
Took delivery of a Kenmore Elite HE3 electric dryer yesterday. Tried to dry my first load this morning and can't get it to start. All the lights are functional, the door is closed tightly (cliccks, I can change the Options and Modifiers but when I press the start button all I get is 3 beeps but no error messages. Relatively new home, power is adequate... I'm baffled. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem... but discovered that the door only appears to be securely shut. The top latch isn't securely seated, if I press hard on the top center of the door the drum light goes out and the dryer starts. The door won't stay latched so I'm looking to see what I am missing in the door adjustment.
Why would I expect a $1,000 dryer to work right out of the box... more importanty why do I still go to SEARS? |

I bought a house that come with a Kenmore stacked cloth dryer and washer. The dryer doesn't start. All the light on other functions seem okay. The cancel button does clear all the memories effectively. Thanks.
Just purchased this washer/dryer combo. Washer works great. When you set the dryer and press the start button, it beeps 3 times like it's going to start. No error code. Nothing.
I have a Kenmore elite H3 dryer model # 110-848-21301. The door is closed properly, however, when I push and hold the start button it makes a clicking noise (like it wants to start) but does not power on. If the problem was due to the door it would beep at me indicating the door needs securely...
I have Kenmore Elite QuietPak9 He4 last year. All of sudden it has stopped working. I don't know what is wrong with it. It won't start.
