    Hi,
The serial number tag is on the frame above and inside the left rear tire. It will be 13 characters, alphabetic and numeric. You will notice that L110 is in it. The first six are factory and model , the seventh is a separator and the final six are the actual machine number.
Any good Deere dealer with access to Deere's secured site can do a Serial Number Search that will yield original purchase info, and anything else pertinient including if it has been reported stolen.
Other than that the Code on the engine will tell the manufacture date of it in the form of ""YYMMDDSS" where the Ys = year, the Ms = month, the Ds = day and the Ss = shift.
    Peace,
    Clarke
