Two small pcs of metal that are corroding on my H/A/C unit.
Are you familiar with (2) small pieces of metal (could be relays) that are shaped like a 'U' with tails located on the side of my H/A/C unit that are corroding? An H/A/C tech told me that when they finally touch two things could happen: the H/A/C unit will either keep running and I won't be able to turn it off or on; and, that it could happen now or a year from now! Do you know what I'm referring to w/this very elementary description of the problem? I would like to understand what the HAV tech is talking about when he comes to the house to give me an estimate for the job.

    Thank you.
