    Parallel forces in equilibrium
    Forces equal to P,2P,3P and 4P act along the side of a square ABCD taken in order ,find the magnitude,directionand line of action of the resultant.

    You're going to have to post a picture of the situation - it's not clear what the direction of each of these 4 forces is.
